Mechanical Designer is needed for our Pro Audio company. This is a great chance to learn the audio industry and be a part of shaping Mackie and Ampeg brands. The candidate will work under the department Director to support Mechanical to support the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design groups in all design centers located in the USA. They will also work with Product Managers, Electrical Engineering, Product Validation and Compliance, and outside vendors both in the USA and Asia. Some travel may be required to Asia at critical times of projects. Ideal candidate will have a passion for the audio industry and seeing design through from conception to mass production.

The Oracle Applications Developer will work in collaboration with Oracle Business Analyst on all technical aspects of the Oracle E-Business suite modules and will be capable of designing and developing programs and procedures around Oracle Applications. Core activities will include development of technical specifications, configuration of standard applications, modifications to standard forms and reports, development of new forms and reports, development of interfaces in and out of the e-business suite, and end user support for applications.

The Lead/Senior Design Engineer leads an engineering development team in the Mackie brand, including but not limited to sound reinforcement speakers, analog mixers with USB and Firewire interfaces and studio monitors. The role requires high level and detailed design of hardware/firmware/software for such products, as well as team leadership including system electro-mechanical design specification and leading the team during feasibility, design and pilot phases of product development.

This is an upper-level engineering position within the design engineering group. This person is responsible for designing and architecting new loudspeaker systems, researching new technologies, assisting the Product Manager with product definition, design of integrated systems and final system optimization. The senior design engineer will typically lead sophisticated product designs and will often contribute to the research and development of new technologies that will be used in future products. A clear understanding of loudspeaker technologies and their application is required.

The Engineering Technician will be involved in several different aspects of professional loudspeaker design, including support for both R&D and product development efforts.

An entry level engineering position within the design engineering group. Responsible for and/or assists with the design and testing of professional loudspeaker products with a focus on the integration of key components; horns, transducers, filters, active electronics, etc. May be responsible for making improvements to existing products. May evaluate parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. May be responsible for and/or contribute to the design of transducers, horns/waveguides, phase plugs, audio electronics, software, etc. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of acoustical products. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

The Installed Systems Support Manager will provide design support for consultants, contractors/integrators and distributors around the world ranging from product recommendation and customization to full loudspeaker system design work. The Manager will be responsible for ASG’s day to day systems design effort, scheduling, resource management and document quality control.
