Scott Pizzo Joins Mackie Designs Inc. Sales Force

May 22, 2003– Woodinville, WA – Mackie Designs Inc. (OTCBB: MKIE) today announced that Scott Pizzo has joined the company's sales team. Scott will focus on Sound Reinforcement activities in pro touring, product demos and training for all Mackie Designs brands - Mackie, EAW, TAPCO and RCF.

Scott has 16 years experience in live audio. Prior joining Mackie Designs Inc., Scott worked as a Direct Representative for Lexicon, Inc. in Bedford, Mass., where he covered a territory of approximately 19 states with more than 200 dealers and/or contractor/integrators. He also continues to manage his 10-year old business as an independent sound engineer, which includes sound system rentals, live sound mixing, recording engineering, and corporate events.
